If there is a campfire crackling, a DIY project in progress, or a late night Etch-A-Sketch masterpiece in the works, Peter is probably involved. After coming on staff at Graceway in March of 2010 as a High School Student Pastor, he faithfully walked alongside students and families for over a decade before becoming Senior Pastor in 2020. Married to his wife Theresa since 1998, they have two sons, Fisher and Ian. Peter loves being in nature, spending time with his dog Mable, caring for his chickens, and tackling just about any fixer upper project that comes his way. He also still has dreams of becoming an expert fly fisherman someday. As Senior Pastor, Peter leads Graceway Baptist with vision, heart, and humility. Shepherding staff, guiding ministries, and helping the church family grow in their faith and impact in the community. His approachable, creative, and relational leadership ensures that people not only feel welcomed, but empowered to serve, grow, and live out their faith fully.

Where there is a lively conversation about a podcast, Seth is probably right in the middle of it, ready to share his latest favorite. Married to his wife, Megan, with a son and daughter, Seth has called Graceway home since he was 8, and he still remembers his very first Sunday School teacher- whom he loves seeing still active in our ministry! As a Pastor of Adult Discipleship and Engagment, he is passionate about creating spaces where adults can grow in their faith, feel welcomed, and connect with others. Because of his heart for discipleship, people at Graceway don’t just attend. They Belong.

Whether he’s diving into a good book or spending time with his wife, Olivia, Nate brings curiosity and enthusiasm wherever he goes. As youth pastor, he brings energy, authenticity, and a genuine love for students into everything he does. Nate curates spaces where students feel welcomed, challenged, and encouraged as they grow into their faith. His heart for relationship and discipleship shows up in the way he connects with his students and walks alongside them each day .

If you hear a commotion somewhere on campus, there is a good chance it’s Sarah’s middle school ministry doing something fun and unforgettable. As a mom of two teenage boys, she and her husband Mark, understands both the joy and challenge of raising kids in these formative years. Having been part of Graceway Baptist since her own boys attended Graceway Academy,  Sarah knows the value of raising children with a strong church family beside them. She loves creating energetic, engaging spaces where middle schoolers feel known, challenged, and excited to grown in their faith.

After a brief moment as a local celebrity on Good Morning America, Mackenzie is now best known for being a favorite face in the kids ministry. As a mom of two little boys, her husband, Dakota, and herself understand what families of young children need most from their church. Having grown up at Graceway Baptist, Mackenzie now has the joy of serving alongside leaders who once taught her in Sunday School. Mackenzie loves creating a fun, safe, and Christ-centered space where kids can know and follow Jesus,

If there’s a place where everything runs like clockwork- even with chaos thrown in- Tonya is probably behind it. She and her husband, Barry, have an adult  son and a daughter, and are the proud grandparents to not one, but TWO sets of twins keeping their lives lively. Known for being organized, crisp, and clear, Tonya keeps the office humming while making sure everyone feels welcomed and cared for. She loves helping families and staff stay informed and supported, making Graceway a place where people can truly thrive.

As a teen, Kristin met former Chicago Bears legend Dan Hampton- and she’d be happy to show you the photo if you stop by her office! If there is a detail that needs attention, or a task quietly getting done, Kristin is probably on it. As the Assistant Administrator and Family & Children’s Assistant, she keeps the smallest- but most important- tasks running smoothly so the church family can thrive. She and her husband Darren have two adult daughters. Her heart for people is felt in every corner of Graceway. Known for her care, attentiveness, and steadfast support, she makes sure families, staff and ministries feel seen, equipped, and loved.
